Mells Scenic Race

The Mells Scenic Race is a 7-mile running event held in the historic village of Mells, near Frome. Scheduled for September 21, 2025, the course combines footpaths, bridleways, cycle paths, and quiet country lanes, offering a scenic route with some hills. The race starts and finishes at Mells Cricket Club, with parking and facilities available.

The route includes a section along the cycle path from Great Elm to Mells, avoiding Barrow Hill. The course is marked and marshalled, but can be slippery and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed, and headphones are permitted with caution on road sections.
