About the race
Oldbury 10 mile is a flat, fast 10-mile road race held in the Thornbury area along quiet lanes by the River Severn. The accurately measured course is ideal for runners stepping up from 10k or preparing for a half marathon. A highlight is the £100 prize for breaking the course record (men 50:19; women 57:09).
It forms part of the Avon Road Race Championships and offers a three-race series with a linked multi-layer wooden medal when all events are completed. Race HQ is at Oldbury Power Station; there are two water stations on the course. Entries are through Full on Sport; minimum age 18. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
