Event
The Bishop's Stortford Mitre is a road race organised by The Bishop's Stortford High School and sponsored by Nockolds Solicitors. It takes place on 5 July 2026 at Jobbers Wood, Great Hadham Road, Much Hadham, Herts SG10 6FB. The event is a community fundraiser for The Mitre Fund, with proceeds directed to new school community sports facilities.

The 10K and 5K courses are professionally measured and chip timed. Races are held on traffic-free roads through East Hertfordshire villages, on a circuit from Jobbers Wood to Much Hadham and back. Race amenities include a specially designed free finisher's T-shirt for all runners or, alternatively, the option to have a tree planted in the runner’s name, an organised warm-up, refreshments and free parking on site.
Awards include trophies for the top three women and men, age-category winners (first over 40, 50 and 60 for women and men) and Best Running Club Team for 5K and 10K based on the fastest two women’s and two men’s times from the same club.
