Event details
The Birmingham Winter Warmer Run at Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, takes place on 22 February 2026. The event offers three distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half marathon
The event supports the charity Shelter. Fundraising is optional and there is no minimum fundraising target.
Course and accessibility
The route is mostly on paths with a small road crossing and a bridge crossing where extra care is required. The course is wheelchair friendly and buggies are permitted. Marshals will be positioned around the course. Runners are asked to keep to the left where directed and to ensure they can hear marshal instructions if wearing headphones.
Race services and results
Entries include full chip timing with a chip on the race bib and instant results displayed on the event timing system and website. All finishers receive a medal and there are trophies for some winners. Drinks, snacks and limited additional goodies are provided at the finish and in the event hub. Bag storage and toilets are available at the event hub, though bag storage space is limited. Event photography may be available after the race.
Entries, fees and policies
Listed entry fees on the page are £25 for the 5k and 10k and £30 for the half marathon. Entry prices increase on 2 January 2026 and online entries close on 10 February 2026 unless the event sells out. Typical cut-off times stated are two hours for the 5k/10k and three hours for the half marathon. The organiser’s cancellation and transfer policy includes a 60% refund at least 14 days before the event and options to transfer or receive voucher points up to seven days before the event.
