Sparks Biggest Little Ultra at Sparks Marina, Sparks, Nevada, October 9 to 11, 2026

The event is a two day fixed time and fixed distance ultramarathon held at Sparks Marina. It offers multiple timed events and distance options for runners and walkers, plus a team relay option.

Available race options include:

3-hour race
6-hour race
12-hour race
24-hour race
48-hour race
50 mile race
100 mile race
6-hour relay for up to six team members

The course is just under a 2 mile loop with a total elevation gain of 29 feet. The loop is paved and lighted. Two permanent restrooms are located on course and porta potties will be near the start area. Partial laps are not counted; 50 mile runners complete 26 loops and 100 mile runners complete 52 loops.

A fully stocked aid station will operate around the clock and will provide hot cups for warm drinks and soup at night. Real meals with vegan options will be available during normal meal periods. The event uses electronic chip timing with a secondary checkpoint midway around the loop; lap totals are displayed instantly when runners cross the start/finish. One pacer at a time is permitted and bicycles are not allowed. A portion of proceeds supports the nonprofit Liberty Dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
