Sparks Biggest Little Ultra
The Biggest Little Ultra takes place October 9 to 11, 2026 at Sparks Marina, 300 Howard Drive, Sparks, Nevada. The event is organized by Sparks Ultras and runs over multiple days around the marina.
The event offers both fixed time and fixed distance formats:
- 3 hour fixed time
- 6 hour fixed time
- 12 hour fixed time
- 24 hour fixed time
- 48 hour fixed time
- 50 mile fixed distance
- 100 mile fixed distance
A 6 hour relay option is available for teams of up to six runners. Relay awards are given by team gender categories, an under 21 group, and an over 55 group. Fixed time races that begin on different days are consolidated for awards.
The course is a paved, lighted loop just under 2 miles with 29 feet total elevation gain. Real restrooms are located on course and porta potties will be near the start area. Runners complete full laps only; the 50 mile distance requires 26 loops and the 100 mile distance requires 52 loops. The aid station at the start and finish is staffed 24 hours and serves meals during normal meal hours; cold drinks are served cupless so runners should bring a personal cup. Hot cups are provided for soup and hot drinks at night.
One pacer is allowed at a time and bicycles are not permitted. Electronic chip timing records each completed lap; runners must wear the issued transponder as laps without a chip are not counted. A secondary timing point verifies lap totals, which are displayed live. The event makes a contribution to Liberty Dogs and provides finish items for participants.
