The Big Run - San Antonio
The Big Run is a 5 km running event held in San Antonio, Texas on Global Running Day. The event takes place at The Ranch Motel and Leisure Club.
Participants can choose between an in-person race or a virtual option. The in-person event is followed by an after-party at The Ranch Motel, which includes music, food, and drinks. Access to the pool and pickleball courts is also provided.
All participants receive a finisher medal. Registration includes a choice of a gender-specific tank top or a soft tri-blend t-shirt. There is a short kids run scheduled before the main 5K event.
Packet pick-up is available on several days before the event at Fleet Feet @ The Quarry and The Ranch Motel, as well as on race day at The Ranch Motel.
Awards are given for overall male and female winners, overall masters male and female winners, and the top three finishers in standard age groups. A team competition is also held, with awards for the fastest team.
Entry fees follow a tiered pricing structure. A special rate is available for children aged 4 to 11. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
