The Big Run
The Big Run takes place on June 3, 2026, as part of Global Running Day at The Ranch Motel and Leisure Club in San Antonio, Texas (3101 Broadway). The event includes road running distances and a short kids sprint that precedes the main 5K.

Event amenities and on-site activities include a choice of a gender specific tank or soft tri-blend tee, food and drinks, pool access and pickleball courts, a DJ, Brooks product demos, local vendor tents, a Run Club pavilion, and a recovery zone with massage and stretching. Finishers receive medals. A Ranch Motel after-party is planned with music, food and drinks; additional after-party details are to be determined.
Registration pricing is tiered: $45 from February 6 through April 30, $50 through May 31, and $60 on race day. Kids ages 4 to 11 register for $10 with an option to purchase a shirt for $10; kids are not eligible for awards. A virtual participation option is available with packet pickup or a $7 packet shipping fee, digital bibs, and virtual time uploads.
Awards include overall male and female and overall masters male and female prizes of Brooks shoes, 1st–3rd place age group awards across standard brackets, and a team competition that scores the two fastest men and two fastest women per team. The event has a no refunds policy. An 8-week No Boundaries 5K training program with weekly workouts and weekend long runs is offered at Fleet Feet Quarry.
