The event takes place at Maritime Avenue, Hartlepool Marina, TS24 0XF on Sunday 9 August 2026. The organiser offers relay entries and there are no cut-off times. Registration opens 29 August 2025 and closes 4 August 2026. Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North.

- Sprint Triathlon: Swim - 750 m, Cycle - 20 km, Run - 5 km
- Standard Triathlon: Swim - 1,500 m, Cycle - 40 km, Run - 10 km
- Sprint Aquabike: Swim - 750 m, Cycle - 22 km
- Standard Aquabike: Swim - 1,500 m, Cycle - 40 km
- Sprint Triathlon Relay: Swim - 500 m, Cycle - 20 km, Run - 5 km
- Standard Triathlon Relay: Swim - 1,500 m, Cycle - 40 km, Run - 10 km
Routes and race logistics
Swims take place in the marina. Cycle routes are described as flat and run routes follow the seafront promenade. Route maps are provided for each race distance. Wetsuits are optional in August, depending on water temperature. A secure transition area is provided for competitors; race and bike numbers correspond to racking spots and will be checked on exit. All finishers receive an event medal, event merchandise, and a snack and drink. Free parking is available for participants at Hartlepool Marina.
