The Big Father's Day 5K
The event takes place on June 20, 2026 at 101 Riverfront Blvd, Bradenton, FL 34205. It offers in-person and virtual running options and multiple race formats for different ages.

The 5K Run/Walk includes a chip timed race bib, a finisher's medal, and a commemorative race hat for participants. There is a post race party with complimentary food and beverages for race participants. Runners must be 5 years of age or older; any child 4 or under must remain in a stroller if they accompany a parent or guardian during the 5K. Registration fee for the in-person 5K is $40.00. Registration opens March 23, 2026 and closes May 31, 2026 for this event.
The 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk provides a themed race bib and a commemorative race hat, and participants may use the same post race party. Runners must be 3 years of age or older; any child 2 or under must remain in a stroller during the fun run. Registration fee is $30.00. Registration opens March 23, 2026 and closes June 19, 2026 for this event.
The Kids Dash is bracketed by age group with age-appropriate sprints. Participants receive a finisher's medal and a custom bib. Age groups are 3y-4y, 5y-6y, 7y-9y, and 10y-12y. Kids registered for the 5K or the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk may also participate in the Kids Dash. Registration opens March 23, 2026 and closes June 19, 2026. Registration fee is $20.00.
Virtual 5K registrants receive a digital bib by race day. After completing the virtual 5K, participants must upload their time by June 22 to receive a cap or visor and a finisher's medal in the mail within 5 to 10 business days after June 22. Virtual participants are not eligible for age group awards. Registration fee for the virtual 5K is $40.00. Registration opens March 23, 2026 and closes May 31, 2026.
Hats are available first come first serve and are one size fits all. After hats are sold out, registrants may select a no hat option; no discount is offered for the no hat option and the amount is considered a direct donation to the Big Bill Foundation.
