The Big Cheese

The Big Cheese is a challenging 15-mile fell race set in the scenic Mendips, featuring over 2000 feet of elevation gain. The course is fully marked and includes water stations and snacks along the way. Participants can enjoy tea and homemade cakes at the finish line, held at Fairlands Middle School in Cheddar, Somerset.

Registration opens on April 6, 2025, and is limited to 350 runners aged 18 and over. The event emphasizes a supportive atmosphere, with a cut-off time of four hours and facilities such as changing rooms and showers available for competitors.
