ATW Bristol Triathlon
The event takes place in Bristol around Brunel Lock Road and the Cumberland Basin, using the harbour and nearby riverfront. The course starts with a swim in the Cumberland Basin, follows a closed-road bike section on Portway beneath the Clifton Suspension Bridge, and finishes with a run alongside the River Avon.
This is a mass-start, non-drafting event with start waves. Two main race distances are offered along with Aquabike options and a relay over the Standard distance.
- Sprint : 750m swim, 21km bike, 5km run
- Standard : 1500m swim, 42km bike, 10km run
Sprint entries are open to athletes aged 15 and over on 31/12/2026. Standard distance entries and associated Aquabike and relay options are open to athletes aged 17 and over on 31/12/2026. The event uses closed roads for the bike and run, provides course wayfinding and marshals, and includes finish line snacks and a custom designed medal. Wetsuit hire options are available. Fundraising and donation options are offered for the partner charity Alzheimers Research UK. The organiser permits transfers to a future ATW event up to 48 hours before the scheduled race date; refunds and transfers to another person are not offered.
