ATW Bristol Triathlon
The event is based around Bristol Harbour, with a swim in the Cumberland Basin, a traffic‑free bike on the Portway passing under the Clifton Suspension Bridge, and a run alongside the River Avon that finishes over the flyover with spectator support. The course is described as closed road and traffic free for both bike and run, and the route is well marked with marshals on course. The event uses a rolling start and is non‑drafting.
Distances offered include:
- Sprint: 750m swim, 21km bike, 5km run
- Standard: 1500m swim, 42km bike, 9.6km run
Aquabike entries are available for both distances and a relay option is offered over the Standard distance. The event provides finish line snacks and a custom designed medal. The venue is Brunel Lock Road, Cumberland Basin, Bristol. There is no parking at the event venue; parking options are available in the city centre and final race information will highlight drop off points and spectator areas.
The organiser offers an event transfer policy that allows entry transfers to future ATW events up to 48 hours before the event date. There are no refunds and entries cannot be transferred to another person. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
