Event overview
The ATW Bristol Triathlon is organised by Active Training World and takes place at Brunel Lock Road, Cumberland Basin, Bristol. The multi-discipline event is based around Bristol Harbour with a swim in the Cumberland Basin, a closed-road bike section on the Portway under the Clifton suspension bridge, and a run along the River Avon. The event is run as a mass-start, non-drafting race with start waves. The course is described as closed-road and traffic-free for the bike and run. On-course support includes marshals and waymarking; finish-line items include snacks and a custom medal. The event lists Alzheimers Research UK as a partner charity.

Distances offered:
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 21 km bike, 5 km run
- Standard: 1500 m swim, 42 km bike, 10 km run
Aquabike options (swim-bike) are available for both distances. A relay option is offered over the Standard distance. Age eligibility listed: sprint events open to entrants aged 15 or over on 31/12/2026; Standard categories and relay open to entrants aged 17 or over on 31/12/2026. Price range shown is £55 to £105 depending on category.
Policies and organiser
The organiser’s transfer and refund policy states there are no refunds or transfers to another person, but entries may be transferred to any future ATW event up to 48 hours before the original event date.
