ATW Bristol Triathlon
The ATW Bristol Triathlon is organised by Active Training World and takes place around Bristol Harbour, with the swim in the Cumberland Basin, a traffic free bike course on Portway passing under the Clifton Suspension Bridge, and a run alongside the River Avon that finishes over the flyover. The route uses closed roads for the bike and run sections and the event is held as a rolling start, non drafting competition.
There are two main distance options and additional formats:
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 21 km bike, 5 km run
- Standard: 1500 m swim, 42 km bike, 9.6 km run
Aquabike entries are available for both distances and a relay option is offered over the Standard distance. The event provides course marshals, route signing, finish line snacks and a custom designed medal. The venue address is Brunel Lock Road, Cumberland Basin, Bristol. There is no parking at the event venue; city centre parking options are available and drop off points plus spectator areas will be highlighted in the final race information.
ATW’s entry policy allows transfers to future ATW events up to 48 hours before the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
