Event Overview
The Big 50 Trail Run takes place in Pine Mountain, Georgia, within F.D. Roosevelt State Park. This event marks its 11th year and is held during the spring season. The course utilizes the single track trails that climb and descend alongside the Pine Mountain Trail, showcasing the landscape of Georgia’s largest state park.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 50 km
- 25 km
- 10 km
All events have a final cut-off time of 6:30 pm. Runners who complete their registered distance receive a finisher's medal. Participants who register by the April 1st deadline are also provided with an event-specific shirt.
The event includes an awards ceremony where the top three male and female finishers in each distance receive overall awards. Additionally, the first overall finisher for each race is awarded a free entry to a future trail race organized by the same company. Following the conclusion of the races, a hotdog cookout is held for participants, friends, and family.
