Event Overview
The Tyler Run for Autism is a community running event held in Tyler, Texas. This is its 15th annual edition. The event's purpose is to raise funds to help local children with autism afford medical treatment. All proceeds go to children enrolled at the Treatment and Learning Center for Children with Autism.
Race Details
The event features three race distances:
- 1 Mile
- 5K
- 10K
The races start and finish at Pollard UMC on New Copeland Road. The courses are mostly on asphalt. Safety resources include the Tyler Police, volunteers, and directional signage. There is parking available on-site and on nearby streets.
Registration & Perks
Paid registration includes a donation to the cause, an event shirt, and a finisher medal. 5K and 10K participants receive chip timing and are eligible for overall and age group awards. A largest team award is also offered. A post-race vendor fair is part of the event.
Additional Information
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Bubba's 33 on South Broadway Avenue. On race day, opening ceremonies include a blessing, color guard, and national anthem.
