The event is organized as a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave; waves close when they fill and a wait list or the virtual option is available when in-person waves are full. Timing is optional and no timing chips are used; participants may track time with mobile apps and submit results to be posted online. Coordinators remain on site for several hours after the first wave and late arrivals may run upon arrival.
Registered participants receive a swag bag shipped to the US mailing address provided at registration. Swag includes a running T-shirt (shipped the week of the race), a finisher’s towel or giveaway, a finisher’s medal, and a digital training pack. Race bibs are provided on race day. A technical running shirt is available as a $5 upgrade. Organizers email a final update the Wednesday before the race with final details and course maps.
The event supports optional fundraising; organizers donate $1 for every mile logged after the race to partner charities. Registration fees vary by distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
