Event Overview
The Run for PB&J is a community running event held at Golden Gardens Park in Seattle. This event is organized as a small, private group run with participation caps for each wave to maintain a low-stress environment. It is open to participants of all ages and paces, including both runners and walkers. Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian.
The event does not use timing chips. Instead, timing is optional, and participants can choose to track their own progress using a variety of mobile applications or by requesting assistance from on-site coordinators. Results and certificates of completion are made available online following the event.

- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Mile (Half-Marathon)
Logistics and Swag
There is no physical packet pickup required on the day of the race. The organizer ships official running shirts directly to the mailing address provided during registration, typically arriving the week of the event. Race bibs are distributed by coordinators at the park on the morning of the run.
Every participant receives a swag bag that includes a finisher's medal, a finisher's towel or similar giveaway, and a digital training pack. Participants also have the option to upgrade to a technical moisture-wicking shirt.
