Event details
One Step Closer takes place on August 15, 2026 in Lincoln Park, Seattle (8011 Fauntleroy Way SW, Seattle, WA 98136). The event is a looped endurance race held on a roughly 2 mile course at Lincoln Park. Runners complete the 2 mile loop as many times as they can within their selected time period. Available events:

- 6 Hour
- 12 Hour
- 18 Hour
The event is produced by Orca Running together with Evergreen Trail Runs. A finish-line celebration is planned for when the event concludes.
Registration and volunteering
Event entry fees listed on the event page are: 3 Hour $60, 6 Hour $80, 12 Hour $100, and 18 Hour $130. An additional tariff fee of $3.50 applies. More information is available from the race website listed in the event materials.
Volunteer roles at the event include aid station food support, cheer stations, BBQ master, zero waste station manager, and course sweep. Volunteers may help with food, direction, participant check-in, and course cleanup. Course sweep requires a headlamp.
