St. Paddy's Day Lucky Run 5K/10K/13.1 : San Antonio
This event takes place on March 20, 2027 at Lady Bird Johnson Park, 10700 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, TX. It is a St. Patrick’s Day themed run with encouragement to wear green and festive accessories.
Participants can choose from multiple distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 half-marathon
- Virtual Run
- Family 1 Mile Fun Run
The event is organized as smaller waves with a capped field per wave to limit crowding. Waves are reservable using a confirmation number and a waitlist and virtual options are available when waves sell out. Timing is optional: runners may track their own time with personal devices and submit results online, or ask an on-site coordinator for assistance; the event does not use timing chips. Coordinators remain on site for three hours after the first wave.
Swag for U.S. registrants is shipped to the provided mailing address and includes a running T-shirt, finisher medal, a virtual training run sent by email, and access to online results and a certificate of completion. There is an optional upgrade to a technical shirt for an additional five dollars. Race bibs are distributed on race day rather than at a packet pickup location.
