Sloth Run is a community-focused running event on April 10, 2027, at Sutter's Landing Regional Park in Sacramento, CA. The event offers multiple ways to participate, including in-person distances, a virtual run, and a family fun run. The field is capped by wave to keep each start small and local; waves close when they fill, and a waitlist or virtual option is available after a sellout.

Timing is optional and there are no timing chips; participants may track their own time with common running apps and submit results through the organizer’s online process. Coordinators can assist with timing on site. Final participant information and course maps are sent the Wednesday before race day. Coordinators remain on site for three hours after the first wave.

Packet pickup is minimal: shirts are shipped directly to U.S. mailing addresses and bibs are handed out on race day. Typical swag includes a running T-shirt shipped to the participant, a finisher's medal, a virtual training run emailed about one month before the event, online results and a certificate of completion, and an invitation to join a local running club. There is an option to upgrade to a lightweight technical shirt for an additional five dollars.
