About the race
The event is a community run held on February 13, 2027, at Sutter's Landing Regional Park on 28th Street in Sacramento, California. It offers in-person and virtual options and is organized as a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave; waves are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A virtual run option is available for participants who cannot attend in person.
Timing is optional: participants may track their time with an app and submit results for posting, and event staff can assist with timekeeping. The event does not use timing chips.

Swag and participant services include a running T-shirt shipped to the US mailing address provided at registration, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, online results and a certificate of completion, and an invitation to local running clubs. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade for an additional $5. Race bibs are provided on race day and there is no packet pickup required because swag is shipped directly to participants.
The event operates multiple waves and has coordinators on site; coordinators remain available for several hours after the first wave.
