MLK Jr. Freedom Run - Memphis
The MLK Jr. Freedom Run is an annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day event held at Riverwalk in Memphis, TN 38103. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and is presented as a community run to mark the holiday.

The in-person event uses capped waves and operates as a smaller, private group run; waves close when filled. Timing is optional and no timing chips are used. Participants may track time with apps such as Strava, RunKeeper, or Nike Run and submit results for posting, or ask coordinators to assist with timekeeping.
Swag is shipped to U.S. mailing addresses and includes a running T-shirt, a finisher towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, online results and a certificate of completion, and an invitation to local running clubs. A technical running shirt is available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. Race bibs are provided on race day and packet pickup is not required. Shirts are scheduled to ship the week of the race; late registrants may receive shirts after the event.
