Run for Breast Cancer 5K/10K/13.1 MEMPHIS : Event description
This event is a community run at Riverwalk in Memphis, TN 38103 that supports breast cancer awareness and fundraising. Multiple participation formats are offered, including in-person distances and a virtual option with digital training support.
The event uses wave starts with a cap per wave; waves are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Timing is optional: participants may self-record times with common running apps and submit results for posting, or request assistance from on-site coordinators. No timing chips are used. Race bibs are provided on race day. Coordinators remain on site for several hours after the first wave.
Swag is shipped to the US mailing address provided at registration; race shirts arrive the week of the event. Typical finish items include a finisher medal, a finisher towel or giveaway, a running shirt, and a digital training pack. An optional technical running shirt is available for a small additional fee. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided. A virtual-run option includes a medal and a training pack and allows submission of remote results. Fundraising is optional; miles logged after the event contribute to partnered charity donations.
