Cobra Den Winter Series
The Cobra Den Winter Series is a four-race trail series held at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, TN, organized by Mamba Trail Runners. The series runs from December 12, 2026 through February 27, 2027 and uses the Wolf River Trails and the Tour de Wolf trail systems. Entry options include a Short Series and a Long Series, or a Virtual Series for remote participation.
Short Series distances
- Short Series - 5K, 10K, 5 mile, 7 mile
Long Series distances
- Long Series - 10K, 8 mile, 10 mile, Half Marathon
Individual race dates include the Forest Half Marathon and 7 Miler on December 12, 2026; the Monocled 5 and 10 Miler on January 23, 2027; the Arabian 4 and 8 Miler on February 13, 2027; and the Anchieta 5K and 10K on February 27, 2027. Series packet pickup is scheduled the day before the first race at the Wolf River Refuge Trailhead.
Virtual Series participants may complete each event’s distance during its race weekend from any location. Virtual results are kept separate from in-person results and are not eligible for overall or age-group awards. Virtual entrants receive an official race shirt, one virtual bib, and a four-piece Snowman medal mailed before the first race.
Awards are given by age group and for overall male and female finishers. Registration fees listed range from USD 110.00 to USD 173.90. The event includes a weather policy that may delay, postpone, or cancel races if conditions create unsafe trails. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
