Cobra Den Winter Series
The Cobra Den Winter Series is a four-race trail series held at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, TN, using the Wolf River Trails and Tour de Wolf trail systems. The series runs from December 12, 2026 through February 27, 2027 and is organized by Mamba Trail Runners. Races are held on four scheduled weekends at the Wolf River Refuge Trailhead and Tour de Wolf trail locations.
The series is offered in two formats and includes these distances:
- Short Series: 5K, 10K, 5 mile, 7 mile
- Long Series: 10K, 8 mile, 10 mile, half marathon
Each event awards age group prizes in standard 10-year divisions and overall male and female awards. Series points are earned at each race to determine the overall series standings. All registered participants receive a short-sleeve tri-blend race shirt while supplies last. The organizer’s weather policy allows delay, postponement, or cancellation for lightning, severe weather, snow, or unsafe trail conditions.
A Virtual Series option is available so participants can complete the same distances remotely during each race weekend. Virtual results are kept separate from in-person race results and are not eligible for in-person awards. Virtual entrants receive an official series T-shirt, one virtual race bib, and a four-piece Snowman medal mailed before the first race.
