National Chocolate Day: Run for Chocolates : Memphis
This event takes place on September 12, 2026, at Riverwalk in Memphis, TN 38103. It offers in-person and virtual options and several distance choices for participants.

The event is organized as a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave; waves are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and a waitlist or virtual option is available when waves reach capacity. All ages and paces may participate; persons under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Participants may run or walk.
Timing is optional and there are no timing chips. Participants can record times using personal tracking apps and submit results for online posting, or request coordinator assistance for time tracking. Race bibs are provided on race day. Race shirts and other swag are shipped to the US mailing address given at registration; shirts are shipped the week of the race. Swag items listed include a finisher medal, a finisher towel or giveaway, and a digital training pack. Online results and a certificate of completion are available. Organizers run optional fundraising initiatives and state that each mile logged after the race results in a $1 donation to partner charities.
