Event Details
The Sloth Run is a relaxed running event in Memphis, Tennessee. The event emphasizes a stress-free environment over competition. It takes place on the Riverwalk.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Family 1 Mile Fun Run
- A virtual run option
The event is a smaller, private group run with capped waves. All paces and ages are welcome to run or walk. There is no complex setup; race coordinators provide support.
Registration and Logistics
Registration fees are listed and include all mandatory charges. Participants receive a swag bag, which includes a running t-shirt shipped to a US address, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, and a digital training pack. Race bibs are provided on event day.
Packet pickup is not required; shirts are shipped directly. A final update with course maps is emailed the Wednesday before the race.
Race Day
Wave times are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Late runners can run upon arrival, as coordinators stay for three hours after the first wave. Timing is optional; participants can track their own time via an app and submit results online. No timing chips are used.
