Discover the Greenway 5K+
The Discover the Greenway 5K+ is an outdoor event scheduled for June 6, 2026, in Memphis, Tennessee. The course is set entirely within the Wolf River Greenway, starting at the Shady Grove Trailhead on Humphreys Boulevard. Participants travel through a natural corridor featuring restored habitats and a tree canopy maintained by the Wolf River Conservancy.

The course is open to both runners and walkers of all ages. The path follows the Wolf River, allowing participants to move through the landscapes and natural resources of the watershed.
Awards are presented in several categories following the completion of the activity. Recognition is given to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top masters male and female. Age group awards are also provided for the top three male and female participants in categories ranging from 9 and under to 80 and over.
Parking for participants is located at the Semmes Murphey Clinic - Main Campus, which is situated across the street from the trailhead. The event also incorporates a fundraising component to support the protection and preservation of the Wolf River and its surrounding land.
