The July 4th Run 5K/10K/13.1 San Diego takes place on July 4, 2026, at Liberty Station, San Diego, CA (2600 Bayside Ln, 92109, US). The event is organized as a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave; waves are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and a wait list and virtual option are available when waves sell out. All ages and paces are allowed; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Timing is optional and there are no timing chips; participants may track time with an app or ask coordinators for assistance. Race bibs are provided on race day. Swag is shipped to US mailing addresses and shirts are mailed the week of the race; last-minute registrants should expect shirts may arrive after the run. Coordinators remain on site for several hours after the first wave.

Registration fees (Oct 1 - Jul 4): 5K $41.89, 10K $47.26, Half‑Marathon $50.48, Virtual $41.89, Family 1 Mile $39.74. The entry package includes a running T-shirt (shipped, US only), a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, online results and a certificate of completion, and an invitation to local running clubs. A technical running shirt is available as a $5 upgrade. The virtual option includes a digital training pack and medal issuance after result submission.
