Event overview
The Navy's 39th Bay Bridge Run/Walk takes place on May 17, 2026, in San Diego, CA. The event is hosted by the Navy Region Southwest Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) program. Proceeds support MWR Quality of Life programs for Navy personnel and the San Diego Military Family. The event is currently listed as sold out.
Entries, courses, and logistics
Distances offered include:
- 4 Mile - point-to-point over the Coronado Bridge to Tidelands Park.
- 10K - follows the same route and continues through Coronado Island.
- Virtual - entry with swag bag, finisher medal, and T-shirt shipped by USPS.
- Sponsor a Sailor - registration and event swag provided to a local Navy Region Southwest Sailor.
The start location is One Park Blvd, between the Hilton Bayfront and the Convention Center. The finish location is Tidelands Park, Coronado. Race entry includes a commemorative T-shirt and finisher medal. Race numbers are mailed if registered by May 8. Packet pickup is Saturday, May 16, 9:30am-2:30pm at RoadRunner Sports, 5553 Copley Dr, San Diego. Free return transportation from the finish to the start is available by shuttle bus or ferry. A VIP Finish Line Experience is available for an additional fee and includes access to the VIP finish area and continental breakfast.
