The event is organized as smaller, capped waves filled on a first come, first served basis. It is presented as a run-or-walk format that welcomes all paces and participants under 18 when accompanied by a guardian. Timing is optional; no timing chips are used. Participants may track time with personal apps and submit results for posting, or request coordinator assistance for timekeeping.
Registered participants receive a swag bag shipped within the US that includes a running T-shirt, a finisher towel or giveaway, a finisher medal, a digital training pack, and an online certificate of completion. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. Race bibs are provided on race day. Final event details and course maps are communicated by email the week before the race. Last minute registrations are accepted with the note that mailed shirts may arrive after the event.
Listed registration fees include applicable charges: 5K $41.89, 10K $47.26, Half-marathon $50.48, Virtual $41.89, Family 1 Mile $39.74. Sponsors include GATORADE, Shop TheBestRaces, TheBestRaces Run Walk Club, KeepGoingRun, and sweet nothings.
