4th of July 5K Blast - Las Vegas
The event is a chip-timed 5K road run held on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex between fields 2 and 3, 7901 W. Washington Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89128. The course uses paths within the park, which is located near the central west part of the city.
Registration opens January 1, 2026 and closes May 4, 2026. The standard registration fee is $30.00; participants age 12 and younger receive a $10 discount. Registered runners receive a race bib, a finisher medal and a unisex cotton blend dri-power short sleeve t-shirt. The 5K will be chip timed.
Finish-line provisions include participant medals, awards, watermelon, water and snacks. Awards are given overall 1st through 3rd male and female, and for male and female age-group placings in the following divisions: 9 and Under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and Over.
The Student Nurses Association at UNLV is listed as a charity partner; the organization supports leadership opportunities, community involvement and nursing education. Volunteers are appreciated and receive a free entry to a future race or may give their free entry to a family member or friend on the day they assist.
