About the race
The Las Vegas 4th of July 5k & 10k is held on July 4, 2027, at Bruce Trent Park in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is organized by Elite Sports CA. The event offers two measured road race distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
Both courses are USATF certified and start and finish at the same location near 8851 Vegas Dr. The routes are described as very walker friendly with some hills. Multiple water and Gatorade stations are placed along the course at roughly 1.5 mile intervals. The event uses cup free water stations for safety and environmental reasons; runners can buy a reusable cup at packet pickup or race day check in for $3.
Race packets include a bib with timing chip, an event t shirt, an event hat, safety pins, and other race day items. Saturday packet pickup is available at Nike Summerlin on July 3, 2027, with optional pickup on race day. Parking is available near the start and finish area.
Awards are given to the top three overall men and women in each race and to the top three in each age group. All participants receive a free plate of street tacos at the post race expo; additional plates and guest food tickets are available for $8 each. The event posts live results online. Entry fees listed are $55 for the 5K and $75 for the 10K. No refunds are issued but entries can be transferred to another Elite Sports CA event within 12 months.
