About the race
Coffee Lover Run KANSAS CITY is scheduled for April 24, 2027, at Mill Creek Park on Broadway Boulevard in Kansas City, MO. The event offers in-person and virtual options and is organized as a smaller, neighborhood-style run with capped fields per wave.
Distances available:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Half-Marathon
- Virtual Run
- Family 1 Mile Fun Run
The event uses wave-based starts to limit field size and reduce crowding. All paces and ages are welcome; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Timing is optional: participants may track their own time with apps such as Strava or RunKeeper and submit results for posting, or request timing assistance from an on-site coordinator. No timing chips are used.
Swag and finish items are shipped rather than picked up for most participants in the U.S. Included items are a running T-shirt shipped to the participant address, a finisher's medal, and a virtual training run that is emailed before race day. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided, and participants receive an invitation to join a local running club. A lightweight technical shirt is available as an upgrade for an additional fee. Race bibs are distributed on the day of the in-person event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
