Event Overview
The Run to Breast Cancer 5K/10K/13.1 is held at Piney Creek Hollow Park in Centennial, Colorado. The event offers a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon (13.1 miles) as primary distances. There is also a Family 1 Mile Fun Run option. The event takes place on August 29, 2026.
Course & Participation
This is described as a smaller, private group run with a cap per starting wave. It is open to all paces and ages, with participants under 18 requiring a guardian. Runners and walkers are welcome. The event has three start waves: Wave A at 7:30 AM, Wave B at 8:00 AM, and Wave C at 8:30 AM. Late runners can run upon arrival, with coordinators staying for 3 hours after the first wave.
Timing & Results
Timing is optional. Participants may track their own time using running apps (Strava, RunKeeper, etc.) and submit results via an online form to be posted. There are no timing chips provided.

A virtual run option is available, which can be completed any time and place. Results can be submitted by email to receive a medal.
