Ram Run 5K
The Ram Run returns to its traditional month in Denver with events tied to Green Mountain High School. The event period on the schedule runs from August 21 to August 28, 2027, and the main in-person races take place in neighborhoods near Green Mountain High School at 13175 W Green Mountain Dr, Denver, CO 80228.
Available distances include:
- 5 km road race
- 5 km virtual race
- 1 mile kids race for ages 12 and under
Registration fees listed for the different entries are $20 for the in-person 5 km, $30 for the virtual 5 km, and $10 for the kids one mile. To receive a race t-shirt, registrants must register by August 10. The first 150 registrants are guaranteed a t-shirt.
Proceeds will help benefit the Green Mountain High School Cross Country Team. Awards include top three overall male and female finishers, and first place in each age category: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. A traveling trophy will be awarded to an elementary school within the Green Mountain articulation area; eligible elementary schools listed include Foothills Elementary, Rooney Ranch, Hutchinson Elementary School, and Devinny Elementary.
