July 4th Run 5K/10K/13.1 DENVER/AURORA
The event takes place at Piney Creek Hollow Park in Centennial, Colorado. It offers in-person distances and a virtual option, with a smaller, wave-based format that limits the number of participants per wave. Waves are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and a wait list or virtual option is available when waves are full.
Timing is optional; participants may track time with personal devices or request assistance from on-course coordinators. Timing chips are not used. Race bibs are provided on race day and pre-race packets are not required because most swag is shipped to the registrant’s US mailing address.
Swag and finish items include a running T-shirt shipped to a US address, a finisher’s towel or giveaway, a finisher’s medal, and a digital training pack. An optional technical running shirt is available for a small additional fee. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided. Virtual participants receive a digital training pack and may submit results to receive a medal.
The event lists entry options and fees for each distance and notes a family one mile fun run. Fundraising is optional; the organizer states that for each mile logged after the race one dollar will be donated to partner charities. Volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are offered.
