Parker Parks and Recreation Dash Across the Dam Father’s Day 5K
The Parker Parks and Recreation Dash Across the Dam Father’s Day 5K takes place on June 20, 2026 at Rueter-Hess Reservoir in Parker, Colorado. The event is a 5K road course listed as 3.1 miles and is presented in partnership with RNK Running & Walking.
Registration opens December 1, 2025 and closes June 6, 2026. The 5K entry fee starts at $40 plus processing; the price increases on June 6 and event-day walk-up registration is not available. Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative item, a pancake breakfast, and a custom race bib. Commemorative finisher medals are available for purchase as an add-on and must be ordered by June 12.
A day pass per car is available as an add-on to allow continued access to the reservoir on race day; the pass is provided by vehicle and re-entry is not permitted once a vehicle leaves the premises. Participants who add the day pass may bring personal watercraft subject to inspection. Watercraft rentals will be available through Surf'SUP.
Awards will be presented to overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age division: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The event is held rain, snow or shine and no refunds will be issued. Proceeds benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program.
