Parker Parks and Recreation Dash Across the Dam Father's Day 5K

The Parker Parks and Recreation Dash Across the Dam Father's Day 5K takes place on June 20, 2026 at Rueter-Hess Reservoir in Parker, CO. The event is part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series and covers 5K (3.1 miles) on an unpaved road-base course.

Registration for the 5K starts at $40 plus processing fees. Prices increase on June 6 and event-day walk-up registration will not be available. Registered participants receive a commemorative item, a pancake breakfast, a race bib, and a post race beer for those 21 and older off site. Commemorative finisher medals are offered as an add-on and must be ordered by June 5.

A post-race day pass per car is available as an add-on to allow continued access to the premises on race day; this pass excludes personal watercraft and fishing and does not permit re-entry once the vehicle leaves the site. Watercraft rentals are available through Surf'SUP, with walk-up rentals offered on event day.

Awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age division: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. The event is held rain, snow or shine and no refunds will be issued. Proceeds benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program to support local participation in town recreation programs and facilities.

Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, June 19 from 3 to 7 p.m. at a location to be determined; event-day packet pickup opens at the race site starting at 7 a.m. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
