Parker Parks and Recreation Dash Across the Dam Father's Day 5K
This event is scheduled for June 20, 2026 at Rueter-Hess Reservoir in Parker, CO. The listed distance is 3.1 miles and the race is presented in partnership with RNK Running and Walking.
Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative item (guaranteed for registrations by June 7), a pancake breakfast, and a custom race bib. Participants age 21 and older may redeem a free beer at Two22 Brewery with their race bib for up to one week after the event. Commemorative finisher medals are available as an add-on during registration through June 12.
A free post-race day pass per car is available as an add-on to registration to allow continued access to the reservoir on race day; once a vehicle leaves the premises re-entry is not permitted. Participants who add the day pass may bring a personal watercraft subject to inspection before use. Personal watercraft rentals will be available through Surf'SUP rentals.
Awards will be given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in the following age divisions: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 plus.
Registration opens December 1, 2025 and the published registration period closes June 6, 2026. Event fees start at $40 plus processing; fees increase on June 6 and again on event day. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday June 19 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at RNK Running and Walking, with event-day packet pickup opening at the race site starting at 7:00 a.m. The event will be held rain, snow or shine and no refunds will be issued.
