Parker Parks and Recreation Dash Across the Dam Father’s Day 5K
Parker Parks and Recreation presents a 5K (3.1 miles) at Rueter-Hess Reservoir in Parker, Colorado on June 20, 2026. The event is organized in partnership with RNK Running & Walking and takes place at Rueter-Hess Reservoir, 9343 Double Angel Road, Parker, CO 80134.
Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative item (registration by June 7 guarantees the item), a pancake breakfast, and a custom race bib. Participants aged 21 and over may redeem one free beer at Two22 Brewery with their race bib within one week after the event. Commemorative finisher medals are available as an add-on during registration until June 12.
A per-car post-race day pass is available as an add-on to allow continued access to the reservoir on race day; the pass is linked to the vehicle and leaving the premises prevents re-entry. Personal watercraft may be brought with prior inspection, and rentals are available through Surf'SUP rentals.
Awards will be given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age division: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. The event is held rain, snow or shine and no refunds will be issued. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, June 19, 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at RNK Running and Walking; event-day packet pickup opens at the race site.
