Event Details

The Parker Parks and Recreation Dash Across the Dam Father’s Day 5K is a running event scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026. It is located at the Rueter-Hess Reservoir in Parker, Colorado.

Course and Registration

The event covers a 5K (3.1-mile) distance on an unpaved, road-base course. The registration fee for the 5K starts at $40, plus a processing fee. The price increases after June 5, 2026, and there will be no event-day walk-up registration.

Participant Perks and Add-ons

Registered participants receive a commemorative item, a pancake breakfast, a race bib, and a post-race beer for those 21 and over (available off-site). Commemorative finisher medals can be purchased as an add-on during registration if ordered by June 5.

Post-Race Access

Participants can add a free post-race day pass per car during registration. This pass allows continued access to the reservoir area on race day, excluding personal watercraft and fishing. Once a vehicle leaves the premises, re-entry is not permitted.

Awards and Policies

Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three male and female finishers in standard age divisions from 12 and under to 70 and over. The event is held regardless of weather, and no refunds are issued. Proceeds benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program.

Additional Information

Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, June 19, from 3-7 p.m. at a location to be determined. Event-day packet pickup opens at the race site at 7 a.m. Watercraft rentals are available through Surf'SUP, including walk-up rentals on event day.
