The July 4th Run 5K/10K/13.1 Kansas City takes place on July 4, 2026, at Mill Creek Park on Broadway Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. The event offers multiple in-person distances and a virtual option. Waves are used and each wave has a participant cap. Logistics and participant information
Timing is optional; there are no timing chips. Participants may track times with personal apps and submit results for posting, or ask coordinators to help with timing. Race bibs are provided on race day. Swag items are shipped to the US mailing address given at registration; packet pickup is not required. Swag includes a running t-shirt (shipped), a finisher's medal, a finisher's towel or giveaway, and a digital training pack. A technical running shirt is available as an optional upgrade for an additional $5. Final race details and course maps are emailed to participants the Wednesday before the race. A virtual run option allows completion at any time or place, with results submission used to receive a medal. Registration fees are listed per distance.
