Event Details
The Run for Breast Cancer event offers several race distances. The available options are:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Family 1 Mile Fun Run
- Virtual Run
The event takes place at Wiggins Waterfront Park on Riverside Drive in Camden, New Jersey. It is scheduled for a Saturday in April.
This is described as a smaller, private group run with a participant cap for each wave. All paces and ages are welcome to run or walk, though participants under 18 require a guardian. There is no equipment or setup provided for timing; participants may optionally track their own time using a running app and submit it via a form, or ask a coordinator for assistance.
Registration and Participation
Registration fees are listed as $41.58 for the 5K, $46.93 for the 10K, $50.14 for the Half-Marathon, $39.44 for the Family 1 Mile Fun Run, and $41.58 for the Virtual Run. The registration period runs from October 1 to the event date in April.
Wave start times are organized, with waves filling on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are instructed to email their desired wave time. Late runners are noted as being able to run upon arrival, with coordinators staying for three hours after the first wave.
Participant Benefits
Registered participants receive a swag bag. This includes a running t-shirt shipped to a US address, a finisher's towel or giveaway item, a finisher's medal, and a digital training pack. An optional upgrade to a technical running shirt is available for an additional $5. Race bibs are provided on the day of the event.
