Philadelphia SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The Philadelphia SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run takes place on April 4, 2026, offering three distinct distances for participants to choose from. The event features a professionally managed and timed course that starts at Eakins Oval and concludes near the Rocky Balboa Statue.
The routes are primarily set along the Schuylkill River, passing notable landmarks such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Washington Monument Statue, and Logan Square. Participants in the shortest distance also pass near the Historic Strawberry Mansion during their turnaround.

- 15 km
Registered participants receive a race kit that includes a full-zip jacket, a commemorative race bib, and a finisher's medal. Free high-resolution race photos are provided to all runners after they cross the finish line.
A post-race party is held at Eakins Oval, where participants receive a finisher's mug containing chocolate fondue, dippable snacks, and hot chocolate. The party includes music and various vendors. Overall awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance, and age group awards are available for categories ranging from under 14 to 80 and over.
An expo and packet pickup are held on the day prior to the race at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. There is no packet pickup available on the day of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
