Philadelphia SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run : event overview
The event is a multi-distance road run that starts at Eakins Oval in Philadelphia and uses courses that run along the Schuylkill River. Course highlights include the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Washington Monument Statue, and a finish near the Rocky Balboa Statue. The 5K route turns around near the Historic Strawberry Mansion.

Registrations include an event swag kit with a full-zip fleece jacket and a finisher's medal. At the finish, participants receive a finisher's mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. A post-race party at Eakins Oval features music and vendors.
A separate VIP upgrade called the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club offers a canvas tote with Ghirardelli cocoa, a store credit, VIP corral placement, access to a dedicated Cocoa Club area, and an upgraded onsite experience that can include a hot breakfast item, heaters, and dedicated restrooms.
Expo and packet pick-up take place before race day at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Hall G; the expo is free and open to the public. Packet mailing is available for a fee and there is no race day packet pick-up. Free high-resolution photos and race timing are provided to participants by email. Live runner tracking is available around race week. Event parking guidance encourages public transportation and carpooling; parking restrictions apply on the course.
