About the race
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Philadelphia is scheduled for April 3, 2027 at Eakins Oval, adjacent to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The event offers three distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
All courses run along the Schuylkill River and include landmarks such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Washington Monument Statue. The 5K route has a turnaround near the Historic Strawberry Mansion. The finish area is located near the Rocky Balboa statue and is paired with a post-race party at Eakins Oval that includes music, vendors, a finisher's mug with chocolate fondue and hot chocolate, and sponsor activations.
Registered participants receive a race kit that includes a full-zip fleece jacket and a finisher's medal. The Ghirardelli Cocoa Club is offered as an upgrade and includes a canvas tote with single serve take home cocoa, a $35 merchandise store credit, VIP preferred corral placement, access to a dedicated Cocoa Club area, and an upgraded onsite experience with hot breakfast items and dedicated restrooms.
Expo and packet pick-up are scheduled for Friday, April 2, 2027 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Hall G. Packet mailing is available for an additional fee and the deadline to add mailing was March 14, 2027.
