Philadelphia SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Philadelphia takes place at Eakins Oval on April 3, 2027. The event offers three distance options for participants:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
Courses run along the Schuylkill River and include landmarks such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Washington Monument Statue, Logan Square, and the Rocky Balboa Statue at the finish. The 5K course turns near the Historic Strawberry Mansion. The event concludes with a post-race party at Eakins Oval in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art featuring music, vendors, and a finisher’s mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate.
Registered participants receive a swag kit that includes an exclusive full-zip jacket and a finisher’s medal. A VIP upgrade called the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club provides premium Ghirardelli hot cocoa, upgraded onsite amenities, a shopping bag with take-home cocoa, a hot breakfast item, preferred corral placement, and a $35 hot chocolate store credit.
An Expo at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Hall G is free and open to the public for packet pickup, merchandise, and vendor displays. There is no race day packet pickup; packet mailing is available for a fee and has a registration deadline. Free high-resolution race photos and official race times are provided to participants after the event.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance with cash prizes and free registration for the following year.
