Format and inclusions

The event uses capped start waves that are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis; a wait list and a virtual option are available if waves sell out. Timing is optional - there are no timing chips. Participants may track time with a personal app or request coordinator-assisted timing. Race bibs are provided on race day.

All race entries receive a swag bag that includes a running T-shirt (shipped to US addresses), a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, and an online certificate of completion. Technical running shirts are available as an optional $5 upgrade. Swag is shipped directly to the address used for registration; shirts are shipped the week of the race and last-minute registrants may receive shirts after the event.

The organizers publish online results and invite participants to join local running clubs. The event supports optional fundraising initiatives and donates $1 for each mile logged after the race to partnered charities. Sponsors include GATORADE and other local partners.
