The July 4th Run 5K/10K/13.1 ATLANTA takes place on July 4, 2026, at South Peachtree Creek Trail in Decatur, Georgia. The event offers several distance options and both in person and virtual participation.

The event is organized as a smaller, private group run with capped wave starts filled on a first come, first serve basis. Participants of all paces and ages are welcome; those under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Timing is optional: participants may track times with apps and submit results via the event form, or request coordinator assistance. No timing chips are used.
Participant items are mailed to US addresses. Included in the swag are a running T shirt, a finisher towel or giveaway, a finisher medal, a digital training pack, online results and a certificate of completion, and an invitation to join local running clubs. Technical running shirts are available for an optional five dollar upgrade. Packet pickup is not required and race bibs are provided on race day. Shirts are shipped the week of the race and may arrive after the event for late registrants.
Registration fees listed for the event are: 5K forty one dollars and eighty nine cents, 10K forty seven dollars and twenty six cents, Half Marathon fifty dollars and forty eight cents, Virtual Run forty one dollars and eighty nine cents, Family 1 Mile thirty nine dollars and seventy four cents.
Sponsors include Gatorade, Shop TheBestRaces, TheBestRaces Run Walk Club, KeepGoingRun, and sweet nothings.
