2026 Feathers 5K Run & Walk
The Feathers 5K Run & Walk is a community event held at Oglethorpe University in Brookhaven, Georgia. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), a local nonprofit that provides financial assistance to adults living with cancer across the 17-county metro Atlanta area. The program includes the primary 5K event as well as a short activity for children.

- 5 km run and walk
- Short Fun Run for young children
Participants can register individually or as part of a team. The event takes place rain or shine, and registration typically opens in early March. For those unable to participate in person, a "Phantom Participant" option is available.
Awards are presented to the first, second, and third-place male and female finishers across a wide range of age categories, starting from 0-14 and extending to 80 and over in five-year increments.
Free parking is available on-site at Oglethorpe University, with participants directed to designated lots via the main entrance. Packet pick-up is organized on the Thursday prior to the race at a local running store in Brookhaven, as well as on the morning of the event at the university campus. T-shirts and bags are provided to participants but are not sent via mail. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
