2026 Feathers 5K Run & Walk
The Feathers 5K Run & Walk is a community based, family friendly fundraising run and walk held on June 6, 2026 at Oglethorpe University, 4484 Peachtree Rd NE, Brookhaven, GA 30319. The event benefits the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation, a nonprofit that provides financial assistance to adults living with cancer across a 17 county metro Atlanta service area.
The Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation reports that in 2025 it provided over $479,000 in assistance to more than 1,700 metro Atlanta cancer patients. For this event the current fundraising total is $3,247.13 toward a $70,000 goal, representing 5 percent of the target.
Event services and logistics include two packet pick up opportunities, one at Big Peach Ride + Run Brookhaven and one at Oglethorpe University on race day. Parking at Oglethorpe University is free and participants will use the main entrance, with signs directing to designated lots. The race day schedule includes official announcements and a short children s fun run with prizes, followed by presentation of awards.
Awards will be presented for first, second and third place in male and female categories across standard age groups from 0 14 through 80 and over. Refunds are not available and items such as t shirts and swag bags will not be mailed; alternate pickup arrangements can be made through the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation.
