Event details
The Feathers 5K Run & Walk takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Oglethorpe University, 4484 Peachtree Rd NE, Brookhaven, GA 30319. The event supports the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), a nonprofit that provides financial assistance to adults living with cancer across a 17-county metro Atlanta service area. In 2024, ACCF provided over $450,000 in assistance to more than 1,600 metro Atlanta cancer patients. Registration opens March 1, 2026. The program includes a main 5K and a short fun run for young children.
Packet pick-up and parking
Packet pick-up is available on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Big Peach Ride + Run Brookhaven, and also on race day at Oglethorpe University. T-shirts and swag bags are not mailed; items may be picked up from an Atlanta Cancer Care office after the event if needed. Participants will enter via the main entrance of Oglethorpe University and follow signs to designated parking lots. Parking is free.
Awards and policies
Awards for the 5K are presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in male and female divisions across age groups from 0-14 through 80 and over. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine.
