Feathers 5K Run & Walk, Brookhaven GA
The Feathers 5K Run & Walk is a community based, family friendly fundraising event held on June 6, 2026, at Oglethorpe University in Brookhaven, Georgia. The event benefits the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation, a nonprofit that provides financial assistance to adults living with cancer across a 17 county metro Atlanta service area.
The Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation aims to reduce the additional financial stress a cancer diagnosis can bring. In 2024 the foundation provided over $450,000 in assistance to more than 1,600 metro Atlanta cancer patients.
Event format includes:
- 5K race
- Short fun run for young children, with prizes
Registration opens March 1, 2026. Race bibs and swag can be picked up on Thursday, June 4 at Big Peach Ride + Run Brookhaven, and on race day at Oglethorpe University; T shirts and swag bags will not be mailed but can be collected from the Atlanta Cancer Care office after the event. Parking is available via the main entrance of Oglethorpe University with signs directing participants to designated lots, and parking is free.
Awards for 1st through 3rd place will be presented to male and female finishers across multiple age groups, from youth through 80 and over.
