Event Overview
The Run Juneteenth Day event takes place on June 20, 2026, at G.R. Herberger Park in Phoenix, Arizona. It is organized as a smaller, private group run with a cap on participant numbers per wave. The event celebrates Juneteenth, focusing on themes of resilience, progress, and community.
Distances
Participants can choose from several distances:

Event Features
The run does not use timing chips. Participants may track their own time using a mobile app. Race bibs are provided on the day of the event. All registered participants receive a swag bag. This includes a running t-shirt shipped to a US address, a finisher's medal, a finisher's towel or giveaway, and a digital training pack. An optional technical running shirt upgrade is available. Start times are organized in waves, with late runners accommodated upon arrival. The event has sponsors, including GATORADE. There is an optional charity fundraising initiative connected to the run.
