The Bell Plod
The Bell Plod is a one lap trail event held at Myncen Farm, Minchington, Blandford Forum, Dorset. The course runs on privately owned farmland and goes through fields, grass, wild flowers, crops and dusty tracks. The route is described as undulating and is intended for participants who wish to run or walk in a relaxed trail setting.
The event is held concurrently with The Bumble Plod; the two events are the same apart from the finish medal issued. Participants complete one lap of the course to claim event goodies.
Suggested minimum age is 4 years. Children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult; adults accompanying older children will not be stopped. The maximum number of entrants for this event is 64 and entries close on 16/07/2026. There is an option for camping over the weekend of 17 to 19 July 2026.
The event is organised by Running Events Devon and takes place on private farmland by the permission of the landowner.
