The Beav Trail Race 2026
The event takes place on November 7, 2026 at Hilton Falls Conservation Area in Milton, Ontario. The race is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. La Sportiva will attend with a demo shoe fleet and will give away two pairs. The event supports organizations including MedVents.

- 10 km out-and-back
- 25 km loop
- 50 km two loops of 25 km
The course is mainly fast groomed trails with some short tougher and more technical sections. The route runs around the reservoir and includes a waterfall where 10 km runners descend stairs to the base to collect a small commemorative pin. The 25 km loop leaves Hilton Falls and enters Halton Region property for roughly 8 km to 16 km, using the Britton Tract and Robertson Tract; 25 km and 50 km participants are required to sign an additional waiver at race kit pick-up.
Aid stations planned: 10 km has a drink and s'mores station at 5 km; 25 km has stations at 5 km (drink/s'mores), 8 km (full), 17 km (full) and 20 km (drink); 50 km repeats the 25 km stations and adds a station at 25 km (start/finish). Typical supplies include water, electrolyte drink, PB & J and sweet and salty snacks. The event is cup-less so runners need a collapsible cup or bottle.
Pacers are not permitted in general; participants over 65 may have a pacer or may contact organizers for safety accommodations. Apparel: hoodies are included for 25 km and 50 km entries; 10 km participants receive a t-shirt with an upgrade option. Finishers receive a custom medal and prizes are awarded to the top three in each distance. Refund policy: a 100% race credit is available up to 30 days before the race, no cancellations within 30 days, and bib transfers are allowed up to 5 days prior.
