The Beav Trail Race 2026
The Beav Trail Race takes place at Hilton Falls Conservation Area in Milton, Ontario on November 7, 2026. The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and supports MedVents, which provides first aid services at the races.
The course is mostly fast, groomed trails with some short, technical sections. Routes include trails around the reservoir, a descent to a waterfall via a technical section of the Bruce Trail, and the Beaver Dam Trail. The 25 km loop leaves Hilton Falls and uses Halton Region land roughly between 8 km and 16 km, including the Britton Tract and the Robertson Tract; participants in the 25 km and 50 km events must sign an additional waiver at race kit pickup.

Aid stations are planned by distance: the 10 km has a drink and s'mores station at 5 km; the 25 km has stations at 5 km (drink/s'mores), 8 km (full), 17 km (full) and 20 km (drink); the 50 km follows the 25 km plan run twice with an extra station at the start/finish area. The event is cupless so runners must bring a collapsible cup or bottle. Pacers are not permitted except for participants over 65. Apparel: 25 km and 50 km entries include a custom hoodie; 10 km entries include a t shirt with an optional hoodie upgrade. All finishers receive a custom medal and prizes are awarded to the top three in each distance.
Refund policy: entrants may receive a 100% race credit up to 30 days before the event; cancellations within 30 days are not accommodated; bib transfers are allowed up to 5 days before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
