The Beav Trail Race 2026
The Beav Trail Race takes place at Hilton Falls Conservation Area in Milton, Ontario on November 7, 2026. The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and supports MedVents, the first aid team that serves the races.
Distances offered include:
- 10 km out-and-back to the waterfall with a short technical section on the Bruce Trail and a descent by stairs to collect a finisher pin.
- 25 km continuing from the 10 km route onto the Beaver Dam Trail with a mix of single track and double track and additional technical sections.
- 50 km two laps of the 25 km course with a nine hour cutoff.
The course leaves Hilton Falls and uses Halton Region trails between about 8 km and 16 km, including the Britton Tract and the Robertson Tract; 25 km and 50 km participants must sign an additional waiver. Aid stations planned by distance include a drink and s'mores station at 5 km, full stations near 8 km and 17 km, a drink station at 20 km, and a start/finish station; the 50 km adds a 25 km start/finish aid point. Typical offerings are water, electrolyte drink, PB&J, and sweet and salty snacks. All events are cup-less so participants must bring a collapsible cup or bottle.
Apparel and awards: 25 km and 50 km registrations include a custom hoodie, 10 km participants receive a t-shirt with a hoodie upgrade option, finishers receive a custom medal, and prizes go to the top three in each distance.
