The event takes place at Hilton Falls Conservation Area in Milton, Ontario, and is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. Distances offered:
- 10 km
- 25 km
- 50 km (two loops of 25 km)
The course is mainly fast, groomed trails with occasional short, tougher technical sections. The 10 km route runs around the reservoir and includes a section on the Bruce Trail to the waterfall, where runners descend stairs to the base to collect a small pin. The 50 km is the 25 km loop run twice and has a 9 hour cutoff; runners planning longer efforts are advised to carry a headlamp.
Planned aid stations differ by distance. Examples: 10 km has a drink and s'mores station at 5 km; 25 km has stations at 5 km (drink/s'mores), 8 km (full), 17 km (full) and 20 km (drink); 50 km mirrors the 25 km course run twice with an extra aid station at 25 km.
