The Beav Trail Race 2026 : Hilton Falls, Milton ON
The Beav Trail Race takes place on trails around Hilton Falls Conservation Area and nearby Halton Region tracts. The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and supports MedVents, the first aid provider for the events. La Sportiva is a partner and will bring a demo fleet of shoes and give away two pairs.
The course is mostly fast, groomed trails with some short technical sections and single track. Part of the 25 km loop leaves Hilton Falls and uses Halton Region trails between roughly 8 km and 16 km; that section adds varied and runnable terrain. The 10 km route follows groomed trails to the waterfall, includes a short technical section on the Bruce Trail to the falls, then returns to the finish. The 25 km continues past the 10 km turnaround on the Beaver Dam Trail. The 50 km is two laps of the 25 km course and has a 9 hour cutoff; participants who may take more than eight hours are advised to carry a headlamp or flashlight.
Planned aid stations include a drink and s'mores station for the 10 km at 5 km. The 25 km has stations at about 5 km, 8 km, 17 km and 20 km. The 50 km follows the 25 km plan twice with an additional station at the start/finish at 25 km. Typical supplies are water, electrolyte drink, PB&J and sweet and salty snacks. All events are cup-less so runners should bring a collapsible cup or bottle.
Pacers are not permitted except for participants over 65 who may have a pacer. Race apparel varies by distance: 25 km and 50 km registrations include a custom hoodie; 10 km participants receive a T-shirt with an option to upgrade. Finishers receive a custom medal and prizes are awarded to the top three in each distance.
Refund policy provides a 100% race credit if a participant withdraws more than 30 days before the event. No cancellations are accepted within 30 days. Bib transfers are allowed without penalty up to five days before the event. There are no waitlists. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
