The Beast 2026

The Beast is a trail race organised by Poole AC and held around Corfe Castle Common in Dorset. The course is approximately 13(ish) miles, described as undulating. The route goes from Corfe Castle Common toward Worth Matravers, follows the coastal path with views of the coast, and returns toward Corfe with a few minor hills. There are four water stations on the course and cups are provided for those without their own.

Entry, rules and event details

The event is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics Rules. The minimum entry age is 17. Dogs and buggies are not permitted and the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Entries open on 01-Dec-2025 and close on 23-Aug-2026; there is a transfer window until 23-Aug-2026 with a £2 admin fee for transfers. No entries are permitted on the day. All entries include an additional FullOnSport booking charge.

Cut-off time for the race is 3 hours 30 minutes. Prizes include trophies in multiple categories and a unique t-shirt for every finisher.
