The Babinski Foundation 5K Wilderness Trek
The Babinski Foundation 5K Wilderness Trek is a trail event on September 12 at The Babinski Foundation in Pequot Lakes, MN. The course follows dog trails and wooded areas on the foundation property and is organized as an in-person activity with free parking and an all-ages format.
Registration includes a T-shirt, access to a BBQ tied to a Babinski BBQ competition, and the opportunity to bring dogs. Dogs receive unlimited pup cups at the finish area. Alcoholic beverages are awarded to the first, second, and third place finishers who are 21 or older.
The event is produced in partnership with Nisswa Anytime Fitness and sponsored by Clow Stamping Co. There is early bird pricing of $20 for registrations completed by August 25; after that date registration is $30 and tickets are also available on the day of the event. The organizer states that no refunds will be issued.
Following the 5K, the schedule includes a pancake breakfast and a Fall Festival kickoff later in the day.
