Event overview
The Clover Dash is the 12th annual St. Patrick’s Day run and walk held in Crosslake Town Square, Crosslake, MN on March 14, 2026. The main event is a north woods loop that begins and ends in Town Square. The event donates a portion of registrations to the Crosslake St Patricks Day Event and to Baskets from JoJo, a 501(c)(3) that provides care baskets to cancer patients.
Race details
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- Kids Race (0.3 miles, two laps around Town Square)
The 5k includes a ruck division that must be completed in less than one hour; participants must provide their own ruck. The Kids Race fee is $10 per child and each child receives a cotton T-shirt (guaranteed if registered by March 4) and a finisher medal. Packet pickup and last-minute registration take place at Shoppe 218 in Town Square on the days before and the day of the event.
Awards for the 5k include overall male and female prizes and top three in each age division. Age divisions are 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & up; overall winners do not qualify for age-group awards. The 5k ruck division awards overall male and overall female only; ruck entrants are not eligible for other 5k awards.
The course is stroller friendly and dogs are welcome on leash. Suggested parking areas include Ace Hardware, Dollar General, Reeds Market, and Crosslake Vet; parking in posted no-parking areas may result in towing. Course maps are provided for both races.
