Clover Dash

The Clover Dash returns to Crosslake, Minnesota, for its 12th annual edition. This event takes place during the local St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and serves as a festive run and walk through the north woods. The main activity is a 5k loop that begins and ends within the Crosslake Town Square.

Participants have several options for involvement:

  • 5k Run/Walk: A 3.1 mile course open to all ages.
  • 5k Ruck: A weighted division that must be completed within a one-hour time limit.
  • Kids Race: A 0.3 mile event consisting of two laps around the Town Square for children aged 14 and under.

The course is stroller-friendly, and leashed dogs are permitted to join their owners. The 5k race is professionally timed, and participants are instructed to wear their bibs on their outermost layer of clothing. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as the top three finishers in various age categories ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over. The Ruck division features awards for the overall male and female finishers only.

Parking is available at several local businesses, including Ace Hardware, Dollar General, Reeds Market, and Crosslake Vet. A portion of the proceeds from the event supports the Crosslake St. Patrick's Day Event and Baskets from JoJo, a non-profit organization that provides care baskets to cancer patients.
