The Ashdon 3K Run
The Ashdon 3K is a multi-terrain running event taking place in the Essex countryside. Established as a recurring community event, the race is celebrating its 29th edition in 2026. The course is predominantly off-road, offering participants the opportunity to run across local rural landscapes.

The 3 km distance is chip-timed and specifically listed for participants under the age of 16. For participants under 11 years of age, the event requires accompaniment by a responsible adult over 18 years old. The 10 km distance is restricted to participants aged 16 years and over.
The race hub is located at Ashdon Primary School in Saffron Walden. Facilities available on the day include car parking, water stations, and first aid services. Refreshments are also provided on-site. Race numbers are not sent by post; instead, participants collect their numbers upon arrival at the venue by providing their name and race category.
