The All Nations Triathlon
The All Nations Triathlon takes place at Dorney Lake near Windsor, a former Olympic rowing venue. This event features a supersprint triathlon distance, utilizing the lake and the surrounding flat grounds. The course is designed on closed roads to provide a fast environment for all participants.
The event consists of the following distances:
- Supersprint Triathlon: 400m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run
The swim takes place in the waters of Dorney Lake. The cycling portion consists of four laps around the lake on a flat road surface. This is followed by an out-and-back run course that participants complete twice to finish the race. As a British Triathlon Federation (BTF) registered event, specific rules apply, including non-drafting regulations on the bike leg.
Participants receive chip-timed results and a spinning finisher's medal. Trophies are awarded to top finishers. The venue provides several amenities, including on-site showers, changing facilities, and toilets. Snacks and drinks are also available. For those traveling by car, free on-site parking is provided. The location is also accessible via several nearby train stations, including Slough, Windsor & Eton Riverside, and Maidenhead.
Race packs are collected on the day of the event during registration. Mandatory equipment includes a bicycle in good working order and a helmet. Wetsuit use is determined by the water temperature on the day of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
