Hebden Bridge Fell Race
Hebden Bridge Fell Race is a 10 km fell race run over trail and open moorland, with approximately 350 m of climb (category BS). The route leaves Hebden Bridge, climbs to Stoodley Pike via Erringden Moor and returns, with a final run-in along densely wooded paths to finish in Calder Holmes Park. The course is flagged throughout and will be marshalled.
The event is part of the Todmorden Harriers Summer Series and is an established race now in its 16th year. Registration and the prize presentation are based at The Albert Pub in Hebden Bridge, with the start and finish across the road/canal in Calder Holmes Park. Entry is capped at 200 runners; entry fees are £5 in advance or £6 on the day. Teams of three are permitted and the minimum age is 18. There will be a prize list covering multiple categories and a prize giving held either at the race HQ or at Calder Holmes Park depending on the weather.
The race operates under FRA rules. Competitors should be prepared to carry the kit specified by the race organiser to meet FRA minimum requirements; this could include full waterproof body cover, hat, gloves, map, compass and whistle.
