That Dam Run 13.1, 10K, 5K
This running event takes place on March 1, 2026, in Cherry Creek State Park, Colorado. The start is at the intersection of Dam Road and South Dayton Street.
Participants can choose from three race distances: a half marathon (13.1 miles), a 10K, or a 5K. The courses use Cherry Creek Dam Road and are described as offering views of Denver and the Rocky Mountains. The event is part of the RunDenver Series, a winter running series produced by HAL Sports. The series benefits two charity partners: the Fetal Health Foundation and the Colorado Gynecologic Cancer Alliance.
Event highlights include a race shirt or tank top for participants, a custom finisher medal for all distances, and free photos with a character named Justin Beaver. There is also a free 200-meter fun run for kids. A post-race celebration includes refreshments and awards for the event and the overall series.
